MODA was founded by Elizabeth Coscarello who is well known in fashion circles in New York, Aspen and Los Angeles. She has worked with several high-fashion retailers, as a personal shopper, and as a fashion photographer's stylist. Retailers have included Bergdorf Goodman, Fendi, Krizia, and Lina Lee (Trump Tower), among others.

Elizabeth is also an interior designer whose work has appeared in European architectural magazines.
